Archaebacteria
·        Most ancient bacteria.
·        Found in extreme habitats.
[Such as salty region (halophiles)]
[Hot Spring (thermoacidophiles)]
[Marshy area (methanogens)]
·        The cell wall structure is different from other bacteria which help to survive in extreme climate.
·        Mode of Nutrition – Autotrophic
Eubacteria
·        Eubacteria is also known as True Bacteria.
·        Cell wall rigid & and made up of peptidoglycans.
·        On the cell surface of bacteria, contain short appendages, known as Pili. It helps the bacteria during sexual reproduction.
·        Eubacteria - - Rhizobium & Clostridium

Cyanobacteria
·        Also known as Blue –Green Algae.
·        Found in Aquatic region.
·        Photosynthetic in nature. Contain chlorophyll, carotenoids and phycobilins.
·        Cyanobacteria – Anabaena, Nostoc, Spirulina.
